DONT BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU TAKE AN EXERCISE CLASS, GO FOR A WALK OR JOG, SIT OUT IN THE SUN, OR HAVE A TRAINER THAT THIS IS WHAT IT TAKES TO GET IN SHAPE.
*GOING FOR A WALK---ABSOLUTELY IS BETTER THAN NOTHING. HOWEVER, IT IS A CLOSE RELATIVE TO DOING NOTHING. THE BODY IS NOT SIGNIFICANTLY TAXED BY THIS MODE OF EXERCISE IN A MANNER IN WHICH "CHANGE" WILL OCCUR.
*JOGGING---THIS IS INDEED A FANTASTIC EXERCISE IDEA!! ITS MAIN BENEFIT IS CONDITIONING YOUR CARDIORESPIRATORY SYSTEM. IT ALSO REFRESHES YOUR JOINTS AND BURNS CALORIES. THE MUSCLE FIBER USED FOR THIS EXERCISE IS TYPE1a. TYPE1a IS YOUR ENDURANCE MUSCLE FIBER AND BURNS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF CALORIES COMPARED TO TYPE2a AND TYPE2b(to be elaborated on in "energy pathways" tab). THEREFORE "CARDIO" IS NOT THE MOST EFFECTIVE FAT/WEIGHT LOSS TOOL.
